It’s crystal clear that Peru and I have something in common!!

In addition to the fact it’s the cheese state (I mean, the affinity there is obvious), Wisconsin is becoming one of my favorite work trips for their beautiful skies! Hello Wisconsin! 

After all the meat and cheese, I sometimes find myself here. 

Wish me luck with the platters this week! Something tells me we’ll get creative…

The result? Meat and Cheese #1. Inspiration for this week’s trip!

An oxbow is made when a river meanders and creates a bend.  Built in the ’20s, the lodge (and one of my favorite places!) sits in the middle of one. Anywhere that involves the word “meander” is clearly a place to put your feet up!

With summer coming to an end, I’m working my list of things I was looking forward to most! This week I’m headed up to Karl and Johnny’s Ox-Bow Lodge for a little rest, relaxation and meat and cheese platter practice!

Aside from my leather sandal addiction, whenever I’m in Florence I have to satisfy my need  for the beauty goods at Munstermann. I’m in there so much they call me the Calendula Lady! This time I mixed it up with Spigo Toscano eau de toilette, and this cream that is as rich as it looks! 

Even in the hills in Italy I can find stripes!
