Who:
Caroline Ventura
What:
Jewelry designer for BRVTVS, lover of cardigans
Wear:
My basic every day outfit is a pair of jeans (at the moment it’s a pair of men’s high waisted vintage levis that I had tapered), a t-shirt, and a pair of black ankle boots or oxfords. And I always have one of Lynne’s cardigans stashed in my bag in case it gets chilly.
Stripes or Solids?
I’m mainly a solids girl, but I like to have a stripe peeking out every now and then…
First ever cardigan memory?
When I was in high school, I was obsessed with vintage cardigans. You know the ones from the 50s that were beaded and embroidered? I loved scouring vintage shops for new ones. It’s not my earliest memory, but it’s my favorite.
Stolen goods?
I steal my husband, Michael’s, cardigans all the time. The best ones are the ones borrowed from the boys. If it’s too big, I belt it at the waist and wear it like a dress, over some tights.
Cardigan Style:
Really casual, just thrown over a t-shirt is my go-to layering choice. But I also love pairing a cardigan with a bolder pattern under something simple, like a tuxedo jacket.
If you were a cardigan, what would you be?
Something boyish, but with a feminine touch. Maybe a classic grandpa button down with some pretty suede elbow patches?
Friend, awesome pad upstate owner and partner in polka dots Nicole just had her show at NYFW! Check Jake out, working the runway.
Who: Nicholas Kunz
What: designer Nicholas K
Wear: Nicholas K
Stripes or Solids? Solids, unless its one of Lynne’s stripes of course.
What is your first ever cardigan memory? I was probably around 6, it was a hand me down from my brother. At the time, I was pretty upset because I thought everyone would call me a boy wearing my brother’s sweater with the classic bowl haircut. It was navy red and white, super chic.
Stolen goods? Haven’t we all? It was a gift from CARDIGAN to my husband but now it’s my upstate essential…and a little battered and bruised. Thankfully I got the girls version a year later.
Cardigan Style? Backwards
If you were a cardigan, what would you be? A double-faced reversible cashmere cardigan with black on one side and navy heather on the other.

Christopher Garbushian
What:
Community Manager at OpenSky.com
Wear: Right now I am obsessed with my Marc sweatshirt in Gravel. It’s the perfect color grey.
Stripes or Solids?
That depends on the day. Today I am solids but yesterday I was all about stripes. Ask me again tomorrow.
First cardigan memory?
When I was toddler I had a rad white and navy cardigan that had an anchor patch on it. Wish I still had that today.
Stolen goods?
Yes, I have actually stolen a couple of my roommate’s cardigans.
Cardigan Style:
I like to wear my cardigans open and drapey.
If you were a cardigan, what would you be?
I would be a very thin wool green camouflage cardigan that has contrast gravel colored wool sleeves and as an added extra camel colored leather elbow patches. Would be so rad!
